I just dig right in the middle and thats usually where it is… The circle gets smaller the more you dig it doesnt have to be top layer…

It’s usually where the arrow is pointing when you first arrive

There is a faster way. Dig in a straight line from the edge

What tier is this? They stopped showing after tier 2

Best technique I’ve used for years is start at the edge of the circle and dig diagonally down towards the center.

The box will never be under stone so once a reach the stone layer I then branch out in the direction the circles moved.

Real easy to run back out if any zombies show up as well.

the quickest way is to dig down, is to dig approx 3 blocks down, starting at the centre and dig in a plus shaped checkers pattern.

I got a way to find like in 30 to 10 seconds but im not gonna share it

What? You mean others didn’t pick up on this after the first time ever playing the game. The circle will shrink and make a sound after removing so many blocks or chunks showing exactly where to dig down. Usually, the treasure would be in 4th layer or so. This goes for all digging for stuff quest as well.

Hope you like pairs of irradiated screamers. Because that’s how you get pairs of irradiated screamers.

This only works at TH 3. Best way to do it until you get there is to dig down in the center until you hit rock then dig out a 2 block high passageway on the cardinals. You can defend that passageway by placing a block down and fighting over it.

After 5 years of playing I learned that

All i do is dig under the mission marker until i hit stone then go back up accept the mission and boom its at the bottom of the hole

Where the circle doesn’t move as it starts to get smaller is where the treasure is.

Fun fact the top layer has more Hp than the others. But with the motor tools it probably doesn’t make much of a difference. Your better off digging under top layer with regular tools tho, doesn’t take as long

The circle gets smaller the more dirt you remove from within the circle. So, if you have an augur to do this, sure, go for it. Though the treasure is usually always towards the middle 4 blocks down.

I just start digging and chase the circle as it gets smaller. I don’t know why people make things so difficult

back in the day they spawned under the road. and it didn’t magically turn to soft soil

I start digging in the center, and as the circle shrinks I shift to the center. I’ve got no use for that auger though. One hit breaks stone and I’ve got stamina for days.

Do you know how many extra blocks that is? Waste of time. Make a cross (+) in the center, and extend until the circle shrinks, then the circle will be on on or two side, then start on the opposite and dig down at an angle until you hit stone, then dig out the bottom layer of clay until you hit the circle, then widen on both sides till you hit the chest. If you are lucky, you can hit it in under 20 blocks, or 40 if you are not. On your method, you are digging up like 60 blocks.

Swear one i had to look for one of these and i ended up making a zombie killing tunnel by accident 😂😂
