I built a hoard base on the literal edge of the forest biome where the killing zone and loot bags are in the wasteland but I stand in the forest and get the easier to kill and farm zombies. I also went down perception and got maxed out lucky looter and the sniper tree so I can shoot fire wolves and zombie bears that never seem to stop spawning at nighttime and lure them to their deaths in that base. I had level 2-5 top tier gear before day 21.

Sure most people know, but same goes for your horde base. Put it on a higher POI and get better loot bags.

Skulls mean harder difficulty, not better loot.

Does this apply if you demolish the whole building and make a base there? I noticed the skulls still show up even after I replaced a POI with my base.

Old console version is peak. I love my endless search for a full military set or hazmat suit. These become my late game objectives. Along with a massive roof farm and fortifying my bunker shed. I prefer the shed bunkers to the well ones. I dont need all the space the well bunker gives

I sometimes build my hoard base inside of higher level poi’s (4+) for the loot bonus. It’s just smart kriket.

Not sure if pepppe already know, but I’ve noticed that if you hold Y (xbox) without looking at the loot it drags all looting drops towards you

you can also when u accept a mission go there and before u go to the quest mark loot the place complete then go outside activate the quest and tadaa all loot has been resetet sometimes gives even better items then before

Unfortunately I play with loot goblins, those bags disappear quicker than my pay check.

So glad i did this on accident by setting up in a tier 4 on day 2 with my friend

Lol, that’s not the highest skull rating you can get. The wasteland has more, but much more dangerous

Does placing a land claim block get rid of the difficulty of a POI? I think the answer is no, but not 100%

Here the story of my first game ….. first week during blood moon in the pine forest , i keep getting dire wolves as part of the horde. I was freaking out , i only had a regular pistol and a pipe machine gun …… on day 13, i still had shitty weapon. There was a Airdrop that landed in the wasteland …. I was freaking out because i am VERY bad at FPS …. i decided to go get the drop… Inside was a t6 Autoshotgun…. a T6 auto shotgun on day 13 …. I am now on day 22 …… and i feel invincible.
