I make my real house in this game…
Me and my friends first entered Navesgame with nothing, but we were a natural in surviving.
We looked up a map and figured we would find some place that had a great structure to it, or just something, anything.
We eventually did. Travelling halfway across the map to a strip club LOL.
Cleared out the zombie strippers and husks of men who would come to see some girl dance, all dead and then turned the place from shit to glorious.
Big walls surrounding the place, two bridges on either side and spikes everywhere.
We play this world still, not as much, but we also play on PS4.
I can not wait until the new update comes out.
5000 hours and still love this game
Its just, so calming
For me the soundtrack doesn’t play well it does but I have to be outside my base. Does anyone else have this problem
Wait… This game… Has music?… I plays this game from alpha 1 and i never knows that… Damn.
I remember the first time I played 7 days to die.
I booked a hotel for 3 nights and $100 worth of weed.
I brought my PC with noise cancelling headphones, my VR HTC Vive headset with VorpX to play 7 Days to Die in VR.
Those 3 nights were the most INTENSE moments I’ve ever experienced.
I felt like I was actually the survivor in this post apocalyptic world.
The VR headset whilst being stoned amplified everything.
I was extremely OCD with ensuring that every entry point to my base was fortified.
It was pure bliss and terror.
Unfortunately I over did it and jaded myself to oblivion.
Pov: It’s 11 pm, you’re lying on your bed and waiting for mom after overtime:
This song is loved by me and my cat. It kept him calm for a 3 hour 30 minute car ride.
My honest reaction to that information
Having just moved into a new place, I only have a sleeping bag as a bed right now. This piece makes my “bedroll” feel much comfier.
That’s why I loved this game so much.
I just enjoyed spending quiet nights at my base, sorting things in my chests, thinking about how I would spend the next game day.
And just talking about everything, during the long nights, even the stuff that didn’t have to do anything with the game itself.
My brain keeps adding the sounds of fire crackling, robotic turrets whirring, and a screamer yelling to this
You have made the travel back home, as the sun begins to disappear over the hills and trees. This brings you peace, reminding you of the way things used to be. As you walk through your defenses and across the occasional remains of the undead, you open your and go inside to be met with immediate relief. Seeing the safety of your home gave you the peace you needed to recover from yet another stressful day. From looting empty homes where people once thrived, to performing labor you had always resented as a kid. From hunting animals, to fighting off the undead, each day was a threat to your safety. You had slowly begun to adapt though, learning how to clear rooms, to efficiently gathering useful resources. From learning to use a bow, to effectively dispatching zombies. This had all become second nature to you, but now it was finally time to rest. You go upstairs to your storage area, storing the food and medical supplies you found in the buildings of the nearby town of diersville, your hometown. You then put away all the gun parts you had found, almost ready to build yourself a hunting rifle. You then move to your crafting area and dump all your minerals in your forge, which had produced a lot of forged iron while you were gone. You start up your fire and roast some deer meat and water you had collected from the river. You eat your food and drink some water to help you feel better after you got hit hard today by a zombie. You grab a few schematics and the news papers you had pick up off the road. You read in the open window with the vanishing sun glistening over your body. You watched as the sun was disappearing over the horizon, making you smile, remembering your childhood. As it was getting dark, you pulled out your flashlight and continued reading. The breeze was the only other noice apart for your breathing and the crackling of your forehand campfire. It was nice not to hear zombies, but it made you sad, as you remember the bustling town of diersville. The cars and trucks driving by, the sirens, the people laughing and talking, navezgane county was always so busy, especially for being in Arizona. But now it was dead silent. Only wind gusts and creaking can be heard now. Navezgane County had become a shell of what it once was, and that made you sad. But the sadness quickly went away as you heard a familiar sound. The gargling, hacking, and groaning of a zombie outside approaching your house. This made you a bit happy, because it was only one zombie. But zombies were the people you once knew, and Atleast seeing them made you remember them. you stabbed the zombie, looked through its pockets only to find a family photo, and pushed it into a pit full of other zombies you had killed yourself. You went back in inside and walked to one of your other windows to see the moon arising from the distant hills. You then yawned and decided it was time to sleep, so you went upstairs to an old king size bed that was originally in the house, changed into different clothes, and layed down. Looking at the ceiling, you drifted off, thinking about what awaits you, in the next day.
Appropriate for when you’re trying to get some work done; in-game and outside the game.
Anyone know any artists on Spotify that has music like this?
Going to finish my horde base soon, my next enhancement would be a tower in the middle overlooking the majestic horizon above, sipping coffe by the campfire, sniping some wandering screamers until dawn.. pure bliss..
I need a 1hour version of this 😭
Also everytime this plays it reminds me of that game called *Metro 2033*
Im listening to this while at work, man i miss playing 7DTD so much haven’t played it since the experimental alpha 20 came out. It’s been months i have it but haven’t played it at all yet. 😩🙌
There’s something magical about it finally being calm, you and your homie chilling in your decked out base with the word “Boosie” plastered on the front, having a momentary break from the screamers that harass your base, and just hanging out together as this beautiful theme comes on
this game has some of the most beautiful music I’ve ever heard. No matter how bad the game may be to some people, I will always enjoy sitting and listening to the OST of this game, even if I’m not playing it.
I desperately need guitar tabs for this
I’ve been playing since Alpha 3.0, and I’m happy the game has come this far. I hope to see it evolve into a revolutionary masterpiece as technology standards rise. The inclusion of a dynamic soundtrack greatly changes the atmosphere of the game, and is a huge stepping stone to greatness.
just gained a sub keep up the good work
the soundtrack fits perfectly with the fact that the game is empty and a shell of what it could be, and the devs don’t have any direction or release date in sight 😉
You know, sitting on top of your base, if you made it far enough, trying to stop the zombie scout that calls a horde. Kinda helps you relax, hoping you don’t miss with the hunting rifle with a 2x scope
D0pE as fuck. I’m so glad they finally implemented music into this game. It was getting old always getting flagged for BGM that I didn’t own & now, I don’t get hit period. <3
i love the picture
I could fall asleep with this music
I’d never played with ambient music on before (mostly just listened to my own playlist on YouTube or listened to others play the game). I turned the option on in my most recent playthrough and though it made a good addition. But the one point where I REALLY noticed it was after my second 7th day. I had just barely made it and most of my defenses were destroyed. Looking out over everything, that somber guitar picked up and it was so damn beautiful in a way. I saw recently that they’re going to overhaul the audio in the next alpha(s) and I must say, I’m pretty excited. Keep up the awesome work, FP ❤️
You come home to your base. After a long day of raiding the nearest town for whatever you can find. Fully encumbered and with low health and stamina. Getting through your various traps and through your farm you finally enter through your steel door. You unload the good loot and turn on your campfire to cook water and food. A soft strum of a guitar starts to play as you take a moment to rest and sort items out. You breath calmly as the guitar makes you feel safe in your cozy, fortified home.
This is my favourite :’)
Yknow on my first playthrough of this game with my friends, we struggled to find a home, but we managed to ransack this fire station next a trader and set up a temporary base. After a few days of surviving we set up chairs on the roof one night, then we all sat around a campfire and ate bacon and eggs. It was a magical moment, and something that I love about this game’s atmosphere.
The image and music gives the feeling of an old game long forgotten.
Thanks man, now I can add this to my sleep list! <3
Thanks for posting this! I usually just steal already generated houses but the first time I made my own shit shack with spikes and a sleeping bag and I heard this it was magical!
Thank you for posting this, I couldnt find it TvT
