That was unexpected even when I saw it the first time, I actually thought you were just going to Yeet it off a building or cliff.

So wrong though! With mods, that thing gets the job DONE when using trap bases. Think your various “send them to the pit/spikes” designs plus a forced push!

I just loved the grand finale. With a half built base that he was finishing DURING THE HORDE, he easily cleared horde night due to the raw power of the int tree. Despite having almost no ammo, barely anything wired up, and a base that was half lumber, he stomped it. Screw the stun baton, its garbage, the rest of the int tree more than makes up for it.

if you eat rotting flesh before your broken glass desert, it will come onto a nice bed of rotting flesh so you wont fall on the ground in the first second but more like after 5 seconds XD

The sad part is most follow the same skill progression, use the same weapons and play essentially the same game every time. Have watched a couple of your series and the pattern is emerging. Everyone plays the way they want which is cool but every weapon, defense, item can be used effectively to handle the game at any point. That is why there are mods and progressions/skills to modify items for better results. For your videos, you need to keep people entertained and use specific progression/relie heavily on the traders which is fine but there are other ways.

Just because you can’t handle the majestic aura of the stun baton! Once you spec into it and add on a repulsor, it’s a pretty useful bit of kit.

Admittedly, early game, using one is akin to a death sentence.

I’m doing an Intelligence build right now, and it’s brutally bad.
Using Intelligence-based weapons is suicide except under ideal conditions…
1 – the baton kills your stamina, and Intelligence has nothing to offer for stamina management. The baton does very low damage (less than half of an axe which is, and I quote the Fun Pimps “not effective against zombies”) so you have to burn away your stamina to kill one zombie. The only exception is if you get a lucky head-pop.
2 – the sledge/turret is also quite low damage and has an unmoving, restricted attack arc. It takes time to place it correctly, and that time isn’t always available.
Both weapons are useless against anything more than 3 zombies at once.

Similarly, an intelligence build has no points in any gun skills. Sure use an AK-47, but you burn up more ammo, reloading takes longer, and because you’re doing less damage per bullet you’re reloading more often per kill as well.
With no armor or defense skills you’re more fragile and slower than other builds.
With no mobility or stealth skills you can’t avoid zombies as easily as other builds. Not unless you’re outside and close to your vehicle (built earlier thanks to Grease Monkey).

The only advantages Intelligence has is reliably early access to vehicles and other recipes, better trading, cheaper crafting, solar power, and more incentive to do quests (daring adventurer). These ARE very nice, but quests take longer are are higher risk because you’re fragile and weak.

Perception build (the only other build which has similar challenges) is superior at getting very wealthy: sell stacks of POI landmines thanks to Infiltrator, Lucky Looter means better stuff to sell and in higher quantities, and faster looting to speed up missions. Perception also does high damage per bullet, so ammo-per kill is cheap. When I run a perception build it’s hard at the start, but the moment you get ahold of a marksman rifle or sniper rifle (and remember, lucky looter means you’ll get it earlier than other builds) the game gets much easier.

Stun baton requires which you may not have so its understandable.🙂

Its OP as hell once you spec into it. Easily the best melee weapon

It sorely needs a buff, like an area of effect stun or constant stun with enough perks.
And stuns have to actually work because you still have to dodge hits because stunned zombies can still hit you.
And it’s dps needs to increase either by base damage or by increasing it’s electric damage, the latter possibly by as much as 10 times.

Yeah it needs some serious work.
