For 21.2b, relased in mid Nov, they have increased backpack size from 72 to 84, which is great! But even with a full kit of double pocket mods and triple armor pocket mods, you’d still need about 2-3 points in Pack Mule.

#9 the bartering is nice on them, not the strength point

Land claim block is useful in the beginning. Place it down before/after you make your campfire just to pick it back up and save those stones.

spears have always been very effective. one could argue the throwing made them even better

You don’t need 70 whole tips & tricks to dominate the game. Here’s my one single tip to be the best = Play on the easiest difficulty by yourself without any blood moon spawn or zombie spawns and you will definitely dominate the game.

Add attachments to weapons or clothes before selling, it significantly increases the value of them.

A lot of solid tips here. But keep in mind that this video was made for an offline experience. If you want to play in an online PvE server some of these don’t work like the trader resetting. Also, don’t drop that land claim block as you’ll need it to prevent players from grieving you. Also worth noting that your land claim block also makes player blocks MUCH stronger in a PvP setting making it harder for players to raid you. PvP is not very present in current 7 days though. But still. Just two things if you play online 😊

Do not tell players to make pipe shotguns.
Do not tell players to use pipe shotgun in general. It’s a trap.
If you find a low-level one – scrap it.
If you find 4-6 level, put some mods on it (like sawed off barrel or hunter mod) and then sell it for easy 800 dukes, but do not use it.

On the tip about repairing gear before selling it for more value, note mods amplify sell value( I believe a %) in items much more than the mod sells for by itself. It’s especially a huge difference on tier 2/3 items (and Quality 4 to 6). You can turn those weaker pocket mods and mufflers; or simply excess mods lying around into 300 or 400+- more profit in once placed into a repaired item.

Water is wet. That’s mine pro tip of the day.

things ive learned so far with 21 days of playing:
– loot seems easier to get with the book system, not harder… ive got all steel tools & weapons & 3 forges & chem station workbench, 3 cement mixers & motorbike before day 21
– trader quests are a complete waste of time, cos by the time u increase to tier 4/5/6 quests you already have all the best stuff, so the trader now sells stuff you still dont need
– trader quests are still broken – going from tier 2 back to tier 1 back to tier 2 then no quests available for ages
– screamers are in poi’s now
– forges and water purifiers (im told) give off far more heat – i had 3 forges, went away all day, came back to my base to 5 screamers
– you can climb ropes now
– water collectors are probably pointless.. in 21 days i had like 50-70 drinks made.. i havent even bothered getting a water collector (and they give off HEAT)
– i still never need to farm since alpha 20 cos theres plenty of food in poi’s & killing wolves & bears
– zombies fall thru the ground possibly even more often than alpha 20
– some quests seem broken.. did a tier 5 walked round it for HOURS… couldnt find the last zombies.. i even god moded it and flew around every single inch. it wouldnt complete..
– there is very little new to this alpha.. apart from the skill book learning thing, and new work station graphics, im very disappointed in how little extras theyve added
– doing some restore power quests or quests at night in cities, in the wasteland with feral sense on is virtually impossible to complete.. zombies just non stop keep respawning and coming to bother you.. you cant get any time to actually do the quest… i suggest turning feral sense off in the wasteland, its a complete nightmare when doing quests.. especially in high tier buildings that
you cant somehow block them from getting to you by cutting away ladders etc. id say its worse than being in a horde night.
– navezgane map is kinda annoying for doing quests cos it sends you constantly 700m-1.4km away for every single quest.. so after this playthru im gonna stick to random gen maps
– you can have an afk base extremely easily by using the traders now… #broken im guessing this will be fixed on the next update
– the campfire looks rubbish… the old one was better.. at least the look of the flames… i like all the add on things like the cooking pot & grill
– spears are OP as hell now.. probably the best weapon in the game (melee) – you can hits stuff really fast and from far away.. now i can stand on a 3 high wall and still kill zombies.. but not just that, i can kill wolves and bears with very little risk… with the zombies having cheaty extendo arms, i think this weapon is the only one that out reaches even the extendo arm zombonis
– if u leave ur armor breaking for too long until it has 0 health i think it downgrades it to a lower number now
– crashing your vehicle into a tree and 2mph will seriously damage the vehicle but driving off a cliff and falling 300 ft will do minimal or zero damage.. so if ur about to hit a tree, just swerve off a cliff

If you use robotic turrets you can set one or 2 down if you plan on breaking into a cop car to help fight off the ambush

I learned that with the new water issue, scrapping tires and those plastic bottle and paper spots on the ground got me the 100 scrap polymers easy for the dew collectors.

You can still get iron bars from scrapping workbenches it’s just not guaranteed, selling the lead as is sells for the same amount as turret ammo does now, crafting padded armor usually isn’t worth it early game because you need a lot of tape for dew collectors, forges, tools, etc. so usually by the time you have extra tape to use you’ll already have found most if not a full body worth of clothes and armor, they also updated the cost of water filters to 2250dukes
